The first season is dedicated to the period of the Lebanese War from 1975 to 1990, with 12 episodes from over 400 hours of recorded interviews with more than 65 narrators. We carefully selected and collated stories and memories around different themes, such as what daily life was like during the war, how people made sense of the absurdity of war, dealt with loss and suffering, and what motivated people to join the fighting. The interviewed narrators represent a rich mix of profiles and experiences, including geography, gender, socio-political background, and circumstances.
